Policies of Creekside Cottages for The Cabin
(Please read entire policy page)

Your confirmed reservation stands as your acceptance of all Creekside Cottage policies. 
We recommend that you read the entire policy page prior to your arrival.

Arrival & Departure
Check in time is 3:00 pm on the date of arrival
Check out time is 12:00 noon on the following day

Children
Children aged 6 and under are free, and breakfast is provided for them.
Special requests for their breakfast is welcome.

Theft of Services
Cottages' occupancy is absolutely limited to registered guests.

ONLY registered guests are allowed on the property.  
Anyone found on the property who is not registered will be asked to pay the full amount of a one
day’s regularly scheduled fee, no discounts apply to unregistered people.
We reserve the right to stop by and check on the number of occupants at our discretion.

Smoking
No smoking or use of tobacco products is allowed in the cottages.  Smoking is allowed on the decks and grounds.
Please dispose of cigarette butts and other debris properly.

Pets
No pets of any kind at any time are allowed in the cottages or on the decks. 
We do have a large, covered dog run near The Cabin.
It is available only for long-distance, over the road travelers.
Just let us know, and we will have it ready for you. There is a $150 refundable
pet damage deposit required with the first night’s payment.  If no pet damage or clean up
of the cottage is required, the deposit is refunded less $12 per day per pet charged for the kennel.
If damage is done or clean up is required, the costs will be deducted from the pet deposit.
Discounts do no apply to pet deposit or kennel charges.

Deck
The waters of Shoal Creek are shallow beneath the deck and all manner of hazards may be
concealed beneath the surface. Diving or jumping from the decks is NOT allowed. 

Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs)
The use of PFDs is encouraged while swimming or playing at waters edge.
PFDs, in a variety of adult and children’s sizes.
They are yours to use at no charge. 
Please return them to the closet at the completion of your visit.

Refund Policy
If your reservation must be cancelled or your visit curtailed due to high water,
we will cheerfully refund your deposit or any unused portions of your visit. 
We will also try to secure alternative lodging for you in the immediate area of Joplin.

Informed Consent
By making a reservation with Creekside Cottage the guest acknowledges
understanding and agreement with the policies found in this document and
subsequent reservation confirmation documents. 

Cottage Pantry
You are welcome to any food items in the kitchens; please use what you need
and reserve the remaining staples for the next guests.

Toiletry Items in Bath
Bath and toiletry items (shampoo, creme rinse, bathsoaps and lotions)
are provided for your pleasure.  Use them as you need and again,
please leave the remainder for the next guests.
