Shoal Creek really delivers on fishing. 
Several large flathead catfish have been taken out of the creek at the
back door of the cottage.  Other fish in abundance are goggle eye, sun fish, small-mouth bass,
and large-mouth bass.  An occasional trout has been taken here as well. 
We invite you to bring your boat or just sit on the bank in the shade and try your luck. 
A handy fish cleaning station is near the back steps. 
Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer would have loved this place!!
